Apple Scrapple Planning Meetings

Beginning in February, Apple Scrapple Planning Meetings are usually held on the last Tuesday of the month at 6pm, held in the Bridgeville Library meeting room.


Apple Scrapple Merchandise is available to purchase

Our 2023, New Design (undated), and 2022 Merchandise is available for purchase at the Bridgeville Public Library. If you are local or just in the area, stop into the library to pick up your favorites. If you need or prefer shipping, use our Google doc (click on the picture) to place your order and we will contact you to confirm and ship your order. We can take cash, check, credit card, PayPal, and Venmo. Questions on sizes and availability: you can call the library at 302-337-7401 ext 101. Scrapple swag is the perfect gift.

Little Miss Apple Scrapple Pageant

This event will be held on Friday, October 11th at 6:15pm on the main stage behind the Bridgeville Fire Hall.

Orchard Point Market

Visit T.S. Smith Orchard Point Market for more Family Fun during the Apple Scrapple Festival, located at the 9045 Redden Road. Inside the market, you will find a variety of fresh produce, along with apple cider donuts, fresh apple cider and slushies, and apple butter, all for a perfect autumn outing! Senior Center (Outside) Craft Show

The Senior Center Outside Show accepts vendors, such as businesses, crafters, and organizations! Tables and tables of goodies! Something for everyone!! Call Chairman Annette Cannon during the day at 302-337-8771 for information and applications.

Trade Show

Lots of vendors, both individuals and businesses, will be showcasing their services and wares. The show, held on Walnut Street and Laws Street, begins bright and early at 9 am on Saturday and runs until around 5 pm. For more information please email us at [email protected]

Kiwanis Home Decorating Contest

The Kiwanis Club sponsors the Apple Scrapple Home Decorating Contest. Registration is not required. All decorations must be within keeping of the Apple Scrapple theme by using apples and scrapple or a fascimilie of each. Contest winners will be announced Friday evening at the main stage. Judging will be completed on Thursday, therefore it is important to have your decorations in place by the Wednesday before the festival.

Invitational Scrapple Sling

You won’t want to miss the Invitational Scrapple Sling. This event is by “invitation only”, join us as local and state representatives compete for the coveted Scrapple Sling trophy! You never know who may be slinging scrapple; from our Sussex County Council members, local mayors, pageant queens, to County and State officials. The sling will take place on Saturday at approximately 2 p.m. at the stage area, behind the fire hall. Come out and support your favorite. Who will take home the trophy this year? Health & Safety Fair
